Overview
Located in the historic centre of Prague, only 800 meters from the Old Town Square, Hostel Downtown offers affordable dormitory and private accommodation with free WiFi Hotspot, a communal lounge and 3 computers. All of the rooms at Downtown are simply furnished with modern shared or private bathrooms. Every day, guests are invited by the staff to join them in activities like cooking or night tours. Free tours, beer pong, Sunday free dinner or pub crawl are also offered to guests. Breakfast can be enjoyed on site for a surcharge and a shared kitchen is also available for all guests. Guests can exchange money in an exchange machine situated in the hostel. Národní Třída Metro Station is 300 metres from the hostel. Wenceslas Square and Charles Bridge are a 10-minute walk away. The National Museum is 15 minutes’ walk from Downtown Hostel. Guests can make use of the luggage storage and laundry facilities. The property also features a 24-hour front desk.

“Great Staff make a difference”
Loved that the beds were made for you upon arrival. Rooms are spacious and I never had to wait for a shower or WC. Kitchen is well equipped and even has napkins and an ice machine. Laundry onsite too. Very helpful staff Wouter checking me and setting me up with everything I needed and Annie, professional hostel staff that other places lack. Treat yourself in Prague and reset here.

I had a great stay. It was so close to almost every main attractions in Prague. On my first night, I felt a bit uncomforable with the one staying on the top bunk, next morning, I asked if it would be possible for me to transfer to any rooms, and it was accomodated right away. So so happy for the immediate assistance. ❤️

The hostel's location is perfect for those who like to explore the city on foot. I loved meeting Gaby, a Brazilian who works at the hostel and who makes excellent connections between people, offers the best tips on places to visit, and is extremely communicative and helpful. It was great staying at this hostel.

I had a really great experience at this hostel. A special thanks to Gaby, who was amazing at creating a welcoming atmosphere and bringing people together. She made it so easy to meet others and feel part of the group from the very beginning. Always friendly, positive and attentive, she truly made the stay even more memorable. Highly recommended, I would definitely come back!

Great location and we hang out with a lot of travelers from another countries, Alvaro gave me information to enjoy the city and have a great time there going out together.
