Overview
Central Hotel Prague is situated close to Republic Square (Náměstí Republiky) and near the Kotva department store and the Palladium shopping centre, and offers Wi-Fi in the entire building for free. The Old Town Square with the famous Astronomical Clock and the next metro station are only a 3-minute walk away. Wenceslas Square, Powder Tower as well as the fashionable Parizska street are also nearby. All rooms at the Central Hotel Prague come with satellite TV and a safety deposit box. Each unit also comprises a private bathroom provided with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Have a relaxed cup of coffee or tea or your favourite drink in the lobby bar, which has a large, flat-screen plasma TV and also serves cocktails.

Unfortunately, my experience with this hotel was very disappointing. The staff attitude and level of professionalism were extremely poor, and communication was almost nonexistent. Guests expect at least basic responsiveness and responsibility, but this hotel clearly fails in that area. The overall approach towards guests feels careless and indifferent, which creates a very negative impression. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values proper service and respectful treatment.

Great location near the square in the old town but far enough away to be quiet and a respite from the crowds. Excellent breakfast, very helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Good shower.

“Fantastic location”
The hotels location was amazing! A 5 minute walk to the old town square and a 15-minute walk to Wenceslas square, the location was the best thing about the hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to book it again, purely for that reason.

“Photos promise comfort; reality delivers disappointment. Overpriced rooms in Prague”
Overpriced, outdated and misleading — the photos lie, the rooms haven’t been renovated in decades, and the only real value here is the housekeeping staff. 👏
