Overview
Appealing rural accommodation situated in Prado del Rey, an attractive terracotta-roofed and lime-washed village nestled between Sierra de Grazalema and Los Alcornocales nature reserves. You can choose from the cosy Finnish-style log cabin accommodation or the inviting double rooms located within the tradition Andalusian farmhouse building. The hotel grounds boast a restaurant with a fantastic varied menu, a bar with a terrace where you can admire views of the nearby sierra mountain range and landscaped gardens with an outdoor pool. A perfect spot if your are looking to relax surrounded by beauty and nature. The village itself forms part of the Pueblos Blancos route (whitewashed villages), popular for exploring and discovering the charm of Andalusian architecture, culture and its picturesque scenery. For the more active, the area is great for activities such as walking, canoeing and caving.

“Perfect”
We love coming to Huerta Dorotea. A lovely break from everything, the kids love the area. The restaurant is excellent too.

“Loved the Log Cabin with the fire place the weather was just right”
That when I booked the log cabin I was not told that the restaurant was closed for staff holidays until later on when the cancellation date had already passed

“A good place to disconnect from busy work if you don’t mind seeing certain imperfections”
A nice place to spend a long weekend in tranquility of a country side atmosphere. The place is beautiful with a big swimming pool and nice panoramic views on the valley and Prado del Rey town.

We come here from time to time. Nice, quiet and relaxing setting. Very central to the vast amount of hikes around the surrounding areas/towns which we explore during the day. The kids love the cosy feeling at night of the fireplace. As a bonus this time we were given one with a kitchen area.
