Lovely, unique and elegant villa, everything was perfect, good size room, lovely gardens and pool, friendly owners, the breakfast was varied and very fresh, ample parking, it was quiet yet a short stroll from the town and perfectly located for exploring the mountains and the coast, I wish it was my home!

“Classic gem with awesome view on Canigou”

A characteristic building with spacious rooms, magnificent view on Canigou and the friendly hosts made our stay worthwhile. Breakfast was very nice and had plenty to offer. The garden and swimming pool were beautifully maintained. We will book this spot again when we're in the neighborhood. By the way: you can walk in 5 minutes to the centre of Prades. Check out the church with it's monumental decorum inside. Just a 20 mins drive to Villefrance-de-Conflent.

The English couple running the hotel were very welcoming and gave us (probably) the best room in the hotel, with a massive double balcony and extensive mountain views. They even offered us a lift to Villefranche.

Beautiful old house, very comfortable and welcoming. We had one of the front rooms with large veranda and fabulous views of the mountains. The room was spacious, bed comfortable, large bathroom, all very clean with quirky decorations. The breakfast was generous, with a wide choice. Lots of places to sit, both inside and outside in the garden. Lovely swimming pool. Quiet but only 5 minutes walk from Prades centre. Would highly recommend, and we would love to come back.

A very good breakfast with a lot of variety: eggs, fruit, yoghurt, cakes/croissants, fruit juice, coffee or tea etc.

A beautiful oasis in Prades. The house, the pool and the host were all wonderful and you get more value for the money than you can ever expect.

The property & the grounds were unique & special. Loved the pool & the wrap around balcony. Bed comfortable & great breakfasts. 10 minute walk to restaurants. Good location for visiting attractions nearby.

The house is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. Nick and Kate were kind & generous and made the stay feel really special, and Nick was kind enough to give us a lift to Le Petit Train Jaune when the bus didn’t turn up. Would love to visit again in the future.

This is a great location for exploring the surrounding area: Prades is a small town with a commercial zone away from the old centre and accessed from the by-pass. Access to local villages, walking routes and other activities is easy by car, and there is a SNCF line to/from Perpignan. The beautiful house sits in a large garden (with swimming pool) and is magnificently restored. It is gorgeous inside, and run in a friendly, very relaxed way; every facility you could want is provided or offered (eg use of a washing machine, fridge in the room, honesty bar for snacks etc)
