Overview
Xalet de Prades is a complex of wooden chalets surrounded by forest, just outside Prades, 55 km from Tarragona and Reus Airport. There is an outdoor pool, a spa and free parking. The Prades chalets are built in a rustic, Nordic style. Each heated chalet has a living and dining room area with a sofa bed and cable TV. The kitchen is equipped with a washing machine, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. There is a café in the reception building at Xalet de Prades. The garden has a barbecue area and there is a play area for children, as well as a small stable with farm animals. Our Catalan breakfast consists of toasted bread with smeared tomato, juice and coffee.

“Lovely rural location. Nice people.”
Totally chilled out environment. Wooden structures done with great taste. Wonderful restaurant on site for dinner. Domestic animals and children interacting was lovely. Location very quiet and rural. Very close to the town, so several other good restaurants and bars within 10/15 minutes walk.

Facilities a bit dated. Sone rust preventing window shutters to open. Shampoo and soap containers empty. No kettle with coffee or tea. Pool not clear. TVs (yes 2) neither working. Room a bit cramped

The staff are great. Very helpful and they solved some issues we had with great diligence. The property is beautiful. Very nice ambiance, animals everywhere, great design. Great food.

The jacuzzy was dirty. Loads of stuff came out from the drainage once i was in it. It was disgusting. Heating was off. Instead they had an electric heater that took like they found it in the trash last summer. It was old and had a bump. The fan of that heater wasnt working and made a noise. Room wasnt warm. Bed wasnt comfortable, woke up with back pain because the mattrass was too soft. Im glad we stayed just one night. To these complaints they gave us a 10% off next visit though I am not sure if we will come back.

First rate welcome and assurance by reception... We we're offered a choice of room/ chalet. Interesting, practical and well equipped large room with terrace. Very good restaurant (only used for evening meals) 5 mins walk from village and good quality walking
