“Nice place and host but not as convenient for the ferry as we had hoped”

The host was great and the place good value as you got an entire apartment overlooking the sea with its own terrace. However we were only there for the night in order to catch the ferry to Malta.

Handy location close to the ferry port in Pozzallo. Spacious kitchen and alfresco area looking out to the Mediterranean. Warm wonderful welcome from Angelo who waited past checkin time to greet us. Pear juice and a selection of jams and breakfast goodies were left for us too. Quiet and serene outlook.

Really unfortunately this was just a quick stop off stay for us before our ferry trip. It’s sad that our stay was so quick because we would have loved to stay longer and really soak in this beautiful property! Angelo the owner was so accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend staying here. Comfy beds, clean, beautiful home, amazing hosts, a washing machine which came in very handy and an ideal location next to the port for the ferry. A great place to stay!

We loved everything about this apartment, it was clean and offered everything we needed, a terrace to enjoy our home-cooked meal and a lovingly decorated exterior with a wonderful sea view. Perfect if you are taking the ferry to Malta.

“Perfect stopover before the ferry”

Angelo is a super friendly and welcoming host, and lives next door to the property. It was perfect for a quick stopover before taking the morning ferry to Malta. It is across the road from the port, a decent beach and a couple of restaurants.

We chose CasaMare as we needed to be on the 8am ferry to Malta the next day and the CasaMare position was perfect. Only an easy 5 minute walk down to the ferry port. The accommodation had lovely views over the port and a little beach below which was perfect for swimming and nice bar restaurant there as well. You can do a flat 15 minute walk along the foreshore which takes you to Pozzallo main waterfront area for drinks and food. The host was helpful and friendly and very pleasant. The accommodation was cute and quirky, we loved it. Very well set up with all you need, air conditioning and exceptionally clean. The outside covered area had views over the beach and port, so relaxing. Angelos Casamare is excellent value for money, a little gem.

Close proximity to the ferry, the host provided snacks and tea/coffee.

What an amazing beautiful place, Angelo is a warm, kind gentleman who was an exceptional host. Scicily has been on our bucket list but staying at Casa Mare has exceeded our expectations and we left a little piece of our hearts here ❤️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Host is amazing View beautiful Loved everything

What a lovely place to stay. Angelo welcomed us even though we ended up being quite late arriving. A beautiful courtyard with an amazing view greeted us. Our accommodation was very clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We wished we had more time to enjoy it.

The property is a short walk to the ferry which was the reason we booked it, however we loved everything about the place. The unit is charming and rustic and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Angelo is a wonderful host and even provides snacks and some breakfast supplies. His communication was prompt and his garden area is perfect for relaxing in and admiring the colourful plants.

“Clean house with a port view”

The property was very clean, it had all facilities needed in our little house/ apartment. There was a nice view of the port, which is quite interesting to observe.

Very convenient location if you’re getting the ferry to Malta. Our friendly host Angelo even provided some breakfast juice and food for us. Much appreciated.
