“Glad I chose the Rodmay Hotel”
Rodmay Hotel is old, and it is old but well kept. It is a historical building in Powell River. It is way more interesting than most places.

“Superb and Luxurious.”
Reception person was EXCELLENT, allowing me to check in even before noon, when I needed bathroom. All Hotel was very elegant and with great historical decor. Walking upstairs to second floor was very easy. Room and Bathroom: super clean, comfy, towels were very lush and luxurious. Also I was SUPER IMPRESSED with great quality of bed sheets and warm comforter. Bed sheets look and feel gave me comfort to the max. Also mattress was of high quality, which is important after hard days of traveling in my Senior age. I was very satisfied with this hotel, and I was also told in Reception that almost every year there are movies filmed in this Hotel, after I asked about picture of Sandra O standing there with autographs. Parking is very easy, location is so central to historic city that it can not be better, close to great restaurant Royal Zayka with super East Indian food and everything else.

“A wonderful old hotel that's been preserved well”
Loved the way this old hotel has been preserved to look much like it did when it was first built over 100 years ago. The hotel owner was very friendly courteous and professional. My room was comfortable and clean. I will gladly stay again only during the warmer months because I do have an intolerance too cold

Hotel in the historic center of Powell River, next to the abandoned papermill, it used to be a very posh place but has visibly aged. Rooms are ok and staff was nice, so it was a good option for a one night stay.

“I loved being enveloped by 100+ years of The Rodmay's history!”
I love the feel of this old hotel. The owner has retained its original essence, despite adding upgrades for comfort.
