Location is very terrible area, no bed tea, even no glass of water to drink, I didn't see their was an office, only 1 Watchmen and have to walk more than 1km to find a shop it's very expensive to have foods. Trishaw drivers are charging huge amount, my advice is not choose these areas lodge..I can't say it's a HOTEL.

The man who lives there (owner/manager?) is very lovely. It’s a bit more out the way but if you’re all good with a more rustic vibe and want to be close to a couple uncrowded surf breaks this is the spot.

Ganesh Gate is a great peaceful place to hang out and enjoy the beach. Murali is a not only a very kind, fun and attentive host but also an amazing cook. For every tastes he makes an extra delicous meal. Thank you Murali for a wonderful time!

Amazing location next to a beach. Loved resting in a hammock with an ocean view. Everything is clean and nice. Murali cooks really good. His food was very tasty. Uncle Sella and Murali were very helpful and great hosts. In two months we are coming back!

Fantastic location at the beachfront. No people at all. Huts very simple but everything necessary is provided Internet OK in the restaurant, in the huts much worse. The guy in charge is very friendly, he prepares food for about 5 USD each meal. He has a tuktuk and may arrange ride wherever you want. The site is far away from the village so plan well your shopping when you are in Pottuvil. Beach is nice but unsuitable for swimming because of too big waves and strong currents. Huts are very simple and be prepared for a "companion" of some other creatures as ants, small lizards, etc. But it is normal in tropic countries.

If you are after a quiet spot on the ocean this is for you. Simple, comfortable cabins with hammocks to laze around in. Murali the manager”s cooking is delicious. He was very helpful and friendly during our stay.

Simple rooms just steps from the beach. Good for people who want quiet and to be close to the sea, you can hear the waves in the room, No people, you have the whole beach to yourself. Great value for money. The manager is nice, takes care of all the needs, and make good food. I came for few nights and extended my stay, I think it's a gem.
