We stayed at Pansion am Filmpark, Potsdam (Room 13) for one night, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing considering the price of €225 for 2 adults and 1 child. Noise: During the night there was constant knocking in the room (possibly from the heating system/pipes). I later saw in other reviews that guests also complained about this problem, so it seems to be ongoing. Sleeping was very difficult. Cleanliness: The kitchen was not properly clean – crumbs on the shelves, dirty utensils, and not a single proper kitchen knife available. In the apartment itself, we found dust and dirt on the floor, even clumps of fluff. The bathroom smelled of damp and mold, which was unpleasant. Facilities: No towel dryer, which made things uncomfortable. Value for money: The apartment is spacious and the beds are comfortable, and we also appreciated the parking right next to the house and the supermarket (Aldi) within 50 meters. However, for €225 per night this is extremely overpriced and does not match the quality. For comparison: in Berlin city center we stayed at a 3-star hotel with an 8.0 rating for three nights for almost the same price (€230). Overall, the space and parking are positives, but the noise, cleanliness, and lack of basic equipment make this accommodation very poor value for money.

“Great location and value for money!”

Location is great, close to the train station, supermarkets, restaurants and about 15 mins walk to the Potsdam University (HPI). Room was spacious and clean. Having a fridge in the room was great. Common kitchen on the grand floor was great. Big desk which was comfortable to put multiple laptops to do my work for long hours. Free wifi was fast. Owner and cleaning lady were both kind. I will come back again.

It was very clean. Communication was good. Internet was very good. Mini bar in the common kitchen is a good thing especially if you travel back on Sunday

The bedroom was in a good size, including the bathroom. It was clean, and the location was good to go to the place where I had my working meetings.

For me it was al perfect! So nice that its okay to bring your dog with you. Did not have a garden here but we walked a lot. I can do what i want to do, use kitchen and no problems with other people or so. It was all clean. Bed & bathroom good. & the fridge is very nice in the room.

A nice surprise is the kitchen – it is accessible for everyone, you can use the fridge, lots of choice of tea, pots, plates, cups, teapot, microwaves... There's everything for you if you'd like to cook yourself a nice meal. I also liked the no-contact check-in/check-out. Great contact with the owner (messages via booking.com).
