“Great location”

Perfect location next to the old part of Potsdam and just around the corner of the Sans Souci Park. Plenty of restaurants and cafes are nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a really nice room with direct amazing view on the Brandenburger Gate.

Our Palace double room was huge in comparison to most hotel rooms and it had a balcony and view of the tower and square. The room was clean and quiet. It was nice to have a sitting area, desk and mini refrigerator. We appreciated that the staff so graciously provided us with an early check-in. The location next to Sanssouci Palace is ideal and we are glad that we spent the night after a long day of exploring. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast.

very friendly reception staff and the room & bathroom is very spacious und clean. Our room is toward to the Luisenplatz and has a balcony with one table and two chairs. It is very nice at afternoon to sit in the room or the balcony to enjoy the time und the chill atmosphere.

Perfect location to visit the city and the palace. Very convenient underground parking just across the hotel, 30€/day with the hotel discount. Very outdated room. Not very comfortable mattress. Street noise with windows opened. No AC, there is a fan.

We liked that our room had a balcony overlooking the square. The furniture was traditional and fitted with Potsdam. The room was large with two windows. We liked that it was an independent hotel. It was nice having the restaurant next door. There was a place downstairs for you to have drinks or bring in food to eat at the table.

“Excellent location and magnificent view, but a few things missing in the room”

The hotel has an excellent location and a magnificent view from the window. However, the room lacked some amenities, such as a kettle, slippers (which I was able to request), body lotion (only 3-in-1 shampoo, shower gel, and soap were provided), and the coffee machine did not have a hot water function. Initially, only two coffee capsules were provided for the entire stay, and the rest were available for an extra charge (3 euros for two capsules), which was only mentioned during check-out. There is a safe, but it is locked, and it is unclear how to use it as there are no instructions. I also found a cap left by someone else in the wardrobe.

My standard room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly. Excellent location. Also great to be able to have a buffet breakfast option right next door.
