It's an outstanding place. This house is not your everyday holiday apartment, it's something better. It is a rustic house, a real deal, not just "in style". But in spite of having a special charm, great garden (with fruits if the time of the year is right!), and interesting historical background, it also has every modern facility that we needed travelling with three small children. Our kids absolutely loved this place. All the old elements of the house are very well maintained, and all the modern elements were in order, working. There is a lot of space and you can park your car right in the backyard. It's a walking distance from both Sans Souci and the New Garden. And it is also not very expensive. It's a 11/10, really :).

“A memorable stay in this historic house”
We loved being able to stay in one of the Alexandrowka houses, we hadn’t realised there are only 13 of them so this really is a unique experience. The house is cosy and facilities good for us. The kitchen was generally well-equipped (could do with a bread knife!). Value for money was great. We chose to stay in Potsdam for a trip to Berlin because it would be quieter, and we could just cook our own meals and relax after days sightseeing, but in fact Potsdam itself has some wonderful sights which we managed to see some of too. The trams were really easy to catch in to the centre and railway station (during our stay the nearest stop was closed for roadworks but the next one was not far) and Sansoucci is in walking distance. We also ate at the Alexandrowka restaurant which was a special experience very close by.

Absolutely amazing. Historic house. Beautifully decorated. In the very center of the city. Everything perfect. Unique opportunity to stay in such place.
