“Fantastic homely hotel in the heart of the village”
Casa Cayo is an excellent base for anyone staying in Potes. The hotel has a very central location in Potes and there is a large free public car park just a few minutes walk down the hill at the bottom of the village. Our room was so clean, complimentary toiletries and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were so friendly and despite our lack of Spanish language they were so friendly and helpful. There is a lovely private terrace for hotel guests overlooking the river. The breakfast is excellent, each day we had freshly squeezed fruit juice, fruit, coffee, eggs, bread, ham and cheeses. I would definitely recommend Casa Cayo!

Casa Cayo is located in the heart of Potes. My room was great - very comfortable, with a very good bathroom. The breakfast was superb, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A great stay. There is a convenient bar downstairs, as well as lounge area.

“Very disappointing”
Breakfast was good, however everything was prepared for each table- I don’t eat eggs or ham so one wonders how much is recycled. Good location - but not for parking

“Exceptional value, location and staff.”
The location is superb and at the heart of the historic town. On arrival the staff were very helpful. One of the staff “walked” me over to the garage where I could park my motorcycle (free and secure parking). The room was clean and very comfortable with a great view over the bridge. Breakfast was exceptional and included. A great hotel and very good value. We highly recommend this and would return.

We have been going to Casa Cayo on and off several years now. The staff are always so welcoming Our room on this occasion was the Attic room, 4th floor, very peaceful and restful. All modern conveniences, big towels, TV . Breakfast if required. We could watch the world go by looking out the windows. Allowing you to watch the constant beauty of the PICOS mountains, as they change subtlety from minute to minute. From brooding darkness to sunshine brightly reflecting the sharp contours of their shape. It continues to have the traditional charm. Window with wooden shutters and window boxes with brightly coloured flowers cheerfully nodding in the air. They are very central in Potes and are part of the maze of alley ways and narrow streets that lead all over the town. Car parking and motorcycle parking advice will be given. All in all, Casa Cayo is central to all the many restaurants and shops and many varied sights to be seen and investigated. We would return any day and, as they say, twice on Sunday. 🤗
