“Exceptional stay – warm hospitality and perfect location!”

We had a fantastic experience at Apartment Pri Neji. The host, Nadja, was incredibly kind and welcoming—she greeted us personally, offered fresh fruits and vegetables from her garden, and even surprised us with a homemade pie! It truly felt like staying with family. The apartment was spotless, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed (including a washing machine, dishwasher, coffee, tea, and spices). The attention to detail was outstanding. The location is ideal—just a short walk to the center of Postojna and the famous cave. Free private parking and fast Wi-Fi were also a big plus. This was one of the best stays we’ve ever had. Excellent value for money and a genuinely heartwarming experience. Highly recommended!

“Fantastic host”

Nadja was really welcoming. She met us on arrival and showed us the accommodation. She had left us fresh fruit as well as tomatoes and cucumber from her garden and eggs and two cans of beer in the fridge! She then came back later with a freshly made blueberry pie - what a welcome! The apartment is just 5 mins walk from the centre and around 20 mins walk to the cave complex. Can thoroughly recommend the nearest restaurant Pizzerija Minutka - super food and wine and very attentive staff.

“Lovely property with the perfect host”

Lovely air conditioned property in a good location just outside the centre and not far from the train station. Walking distance to amenities and the caves. Nadja was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble and she gave us fresh eggs and fruit as well as collecting us from the station.

The apartment was nice, cool and clean, the hostess super friendly and helpful.

“An excellent place to stay in the area”

Nadia was Superb. She spoke reasonably good English and was very hospitable. On checking the passports she realised it wa smy birthday and preneted me with a bottle of wine! She also baked some cakes for our group. The oom itself was large. A good sized main room, a dining areas and a well-equiped kitchen. Both bedrooms were large and the bathroom was also good. Well located for the main attractions

Nadja was absolutely amazing! She was so welcoming and there were some lovely extras. The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable, has everything you need (and more), and in a great location. I can't recommend this place more highly.

Nice modern and wonderful apartment with all the comforts and amenities possible for an extended stay: Very comfortable, well equipped and spacious! The host was to this day the best we've ever had, probably the best host in the world! Always helpful, kind and extremely friendly! The treats you gave us will never be forgotten! “Welcoming host of an equipped and comfortable apartment”

A welcoming host who communicated the key points when needed (no silence and not too many emails). Very comfortable and well equipped apartment. Even had all the little things that help, but are often missing in other places, like plugs for the sink etc. We did use the kitchen so we can attest to it being functional. On the main road, and easy to find. Only stayed for two nights but would willingly stay longer here.

We had everything we hoped for, and even more. The owner was super nice, the place was spacious, well equipped, nice and clean. We truly felt like visiting our distant grandmother. We wish we could give extra points. We stayed in 5 different apartments in Slovenia, but this was far the best. Definitely the best place to stay in the area. Thank you for everything, we hope to come back soon. 🙂

“A very lovely host and a great apartment. Spotlessly clean”

A very spacious apartment and Nadya was just lovely. There were drinks in the fridge or arrival and she even dropped in some homemade cake.

“Lovely large apartment + private parking space + close to Postojna caves + super host!”

Lovely clean and large apartment. We'd booked this because it had a private parking space and because it was very near to the Postojna caves and Predjama castle. This made it a very handy location to base ourselves in. But what we loved most was that it was clean and spacious and our host made us feel so welcome. The freshly picked raspberries and home-made Slovenian cakes were so kind, so delicious and much appreciated! A really great place to stay!

Najlepša hvala Nadja🙏🏼. We never were hosted so warmly and generously than with her. Very warm welcome with Strudel, fruit and beer. Extremely clean and well equipped apartment; kitchen with many spices, coffee, tea etc. etc. Parking spot just in front of the house; close enough to visit the caves. Well suited for a stay with a dog; Nadja was regularly spoiling our Borzoi with goodies😀. Thank you so much again Nadja

“Incredibly friendly and warm host, beautiful and very clean property”

The property is beautifully clean and comfortable and overlooks a beautiful garden and greenery at the back. The host Nadja was absolutely lovely and welcoming, it really was the most perfect stay. Also super close to the caves - a ten minute walk at most. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if we came back to Slovenia. Thanks Nadja!!!

“Great apartment with four beds and a friendly host”

Big spacious apartment. The friendliest helpful host. Decently close to the train station and possible to walk to the cave (takes about 20 minutes). Pretty much everything we need in the apartment. Close to a bakery.
