Overview
Set in the building erected in 1856 and renovated in May 2016, a family-run for 4 generations Raselli Sport Hotel is located in the centre of Le Prese in the Valposchiavo Valley, opposite the Bernina Railway Station (UNESCO World Heritage Sites) and 200 metres from Lake Poschiavo. All comfort and deluxe rooms offer a balcony. Each room comes with complimentary tea making facilities and a flat-screen TV. All units have a private bathroom fitted with a shower and a hairdryer. WiFi is available free of charge in all areas. Raselli Sport Hotel has a restaurant, also renovated in 2016, with a wood-fired pizza oven, a typical Grisons tavern, a winter garden and a terrace. Half board includes a 4-course dinner with organic, homemade ingredients. Free biological homemade tea is offered to the guests. A small children’s playground is there for the little guests. Guests can relax and unwind at the hotel´s new lounge area or use the on-site tennis court free of charge. Free private parking and free entrance to 3 museums in Poschiavo are provided. In winter, there is a ice skating rink in the vicinity. Guests staying for more than 2 nights have a free guest card for trains and buses from Tirano to Ospizio Bernina, as well as free entrance to a swimming pool and a mini golf court. You can also benefit from mountain bike assistance on spot.

“A great hotel for a flying visit to Switzerland from Italy.”
The location of the hotel is fabulous. The scenery is something else, with snow capped mountains all around and a lake just over the road. The hotel was comfortable and the food was delicious. Bike hire was a huge bonus.

Super friendly staff and helpful, all spoke German and some of them spoke English. Had a Delicious Pizza for dinner with a drink in the restaurant, which is quite elegant. If you are coming from the centre of Switzerland during the winter, make sure to bring snow chains or drive a 4x4, because this hotel is over the Berninapass. Or take the train, that stops right next to the hotel.

The hotel is a lovely mix of old and new, located just a short walk from the train stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke more than enough English for us to get by. When we arrived we were advised to book dinner in the restaurant and weren't disappointed. We had a great meal and were looked after by a very friendly and helpful waitress. 10/10 would stay here again when we come back to Switzerland.

The hotel is well located in Le Prese, a short walk from Lake Poschiavo. It is easy to access by car and there is adequate parking. The train station and the bus stop are also conveniently close by. We thoroughly enjoyed using the provided travel pass to take the Bernina Express train across the Bernina Pass to the Engadin valley and back again - a spectacular journey. All of the hotel staff - reception, restaurant, etc. - were very friendly and helpful. The room was modern, clean and well equipped. The beds were exceedingly comfortable. It is a quiet location so we slept very well indeed. A nice buffet breakfast was provided and dinner in the hotel restaurant was of excellent quality at a reasonable price. We enjoyed a lovely stay and would highly recommend the Raselli Sport Hotel.
