Location suited me; staff were really helpful: I arrived early and asked to set up my desktop in the lounge as checkin was not for 3hr; they were great. Ideal lounge and bedroom and breakfast was very good.

“Charming hotel in the heart of a quaint Alpine town.”

This had the feel of an old-world hotel. The wide stone staircase, the wood-panelled bar and breakfast room and the comfortable bedroom all added to our enjoyment of our stay here. We were made to feel welcome, and enjoyed charcuterie and aperitivo in the bar before wandering around the delightful Alpine town. The mountain view from our bedroom window was a delight.

Beds and pillows were so comfortable! Best beds on our whole trip. The room was basic but comfortable and had most of what we needed. Easy to get to from the train station though I didn't find the shortest path until my last walk back to the train station! The Gin Tonic bar offered a free charcuterie plate which was a good promo to get us in the door. The bartender was very sweet and friendly, and when she found out I loved gin, she gave me some great choices. She also provided gluten-free bread with my charcuterie board which was super thoughtful as I have Celiac! AND she brought us a bonus board with our second round of drinks. It was a cozy, relaxed night with a very local feel, loved it more than I expected.

“Clean no frills hotel near the train station”

Easy access to train station and supermarket on foot. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Our room was small but had a balcony which made the difference.

A lovely and authentic Alpine hotel that perfectly reflects the charm of Poschiavo. The atmosphere is warm and genuine, and staying here makes you really feel the spirit of this beautiful historic town.

Great property, clean and warm, great staff and a lovely bar to relax in. Breakfast is first class and they know how to look after you. Free tickets up to Alp Grum on the Bernina Express is a real bonus and much appreciated. Local restaurants on the door step all with great food.

From the moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the incredible hospitality and warmth of this hotel. Everything about our stay felt thoughtful, genuine, and deeply welcoming. Our room was exceptional beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and with a breathtaking view of the mountains that we could never get tired of. Waking up to that scenery was pure magic. The overall vibe of the hotel is wonderfully traditional, full of character and history. You can truly feel the soul of the place in every detail, which makes the experience even more special and authentic. A very special mention goes to Woland at the reception the sweetest dog who instantly made us feel at home and brought smiles to our faces every single day. The breakfast was absolutely perfect, with excellent gluten-free options. As someone with celiac disease, it meant so much to feel genuinely cared for and accommodated without stress , something that is unfortunately rare and incredibly appreciated. We honestly don’t have enough words to describe all the amenities, the attention to detail, and the heartfelt hospitality we experienced. This was not just a stay, but a truly heart-warming life experience. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for everything!

It is a hotel with history in perfect location. Meticulously clean, comfortable beds. Lift was always ready to transport us! And the puppy in the lobby!! The breakfast provided variety and was enjoyable l.

The service at the restaurant and bar war super good. Bread fantastic, but it would be better a bit more variaty in the food, a bit simple but good quality.
