Value for money. Location in 'suburb' of Poschiavo, close to a small bar where basic meals are served. Good public transport: bus to Poschiavo, trains to Poschiavo and further. Water cooker in the room.

I really appreciated my stay at the Chasa Sassalbo were I have felt just like at home thanks to Karen's kindness & warm welcome. The room was very clean and lovely, I slept so well. After few days on the road, it was the perfect place to relax, explore and chill on the balcony with great views. I loved the charming feel of the place, a mix of Swiss-Italian atmosphere, architecture and decoration. It is perfectly located for great holidays, I could spend the afternoon on the lake's beach and had a swim, having a pizza in Italy, hiking the Swiss Alps, a day in famous Saint-Moritz and the Bernina Express train stop is just 5 minutes away. The value for the affordable price makes it a perfect relaxing place and central point from were to explore the stunning surroundings for a holiday or for fews days. I highly recommend.
