“Really unsatisfactory and away from what promissed”
The breakfast cold breakfast, no fresh coffee. only some coffee capsules were provided and some orange juice and a cold sandwich. The restaurant was closed and we didn't get any inform on it unless we asked the day before the travel which was too late to cancel our trip or book something else. Additionally, there were no shops or restaurants, or cafes around we were surrounded by farms and the closest shop/restaurant would be 15 min away by car in Porvoo city. We didn't have any car and we were relying on getting to the place with the shuttle bus or other public transportation, which was canceled. We didn't get any information on this situation until we were there and realized that the only way of transportation is by car or taxi. There were so many promises on booking.com including the picture of the place surrounded by forest and have a lake in the walking distances although it turns out to be not true, all the nearby lakes were private or there was no passing sign before them which you couldn't get access to it. the nearest lake was a 5min car ride away or 20min biking on the car road which was really unsafe. There is no hiking trail around as it was promised that there is some hiking area around, it is all dusty road between farms and most probably you would end up in some private property. On booking.com website it has been advertised that the sauna and archery. The sauna is so expensive that we decided to not go. 35/h are you kidding me?! in Finland that you can get free sauna almost everywhere. And of course, archery was not provided. In general, it was one of the worst experiences I had in booking a place and so expensive considering the facilities you would get. I really advise to look somewhere else if you are looking for any of those activities listed on the webpage, additionally, the name of the place is not the same as it has been announced on booking.com.
