What makes this hotel is the owner and his family and the cake shop downstairs. Super friendly and helpful.

We arrived wet, cold muddy after a hard rain day on motorcycles. The Hotel is an amazing heritage building that the owner clearly loves, so having four dripping wet motorcyclists was not ideal for wooden floors. The owner helped us get warm, and offered drying facilities for our sodden gear. Our stay was great and we really appreciated everything the owner did for us, including looking for, and finding some equipment I had lost in my room. This place is special, not just because of its history and collection of artifacts (the place has operated as a hotel for over 100 years) but because of the people. Great coffee in the morning and advice on how and where to catch the ferry as we left. Muchísimas gracias de parte de los cuatro motociclistas de Nueva Zelanda.

Vincent and his wife are amazing hosts. The bedroom is big and the bed is super comfortable and warm. Breakfast is served in an warm and nice decorated breakfast room. You will feel like at home. Definitely recommend to try their homemade cake. I highly recommend to stay here.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Yendegaia House and in Porvenir! The host is very friendly and happy to provide you with tips of what to do, see, and where to eat like a local. The 100-year old house beams with history and is cosy and welcoming, the room is comfortable and warm, and the breakfast is one of the best homemade breakfasts (including fresh fruit salad, fresh scrambled eggs, proper coffee) we‘ve received in all of Patagonia :) I‘d return immediately!

We had a stop over in Porvenir before taking the ferry to punta arenas and Yendegaia House provides everything you need for that. There is not much going on in Porvenir, you can easily walk through the town from the hotel. Rooms were spacious, warm and clean. The breakfast and coffee had been great!

Extremely helpful manager, spoke excellent English and helped us to book the penguin colony visit on line. Plenty of hot water and comfortable beds, very good breakfast with lovely fresh fruit salad, my husband said the coffee was excellent. Easy to find with safe parking on the street, there is a small hotel car park as well.

Location is great, breakfast was good. The host was so helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Yendegaia house. The host was knowledgeable to recommend local attractions and to help us with directions to travel around Tierra del Fuego in Chile as well in Argentina

This is THE place to stay in Porvenir....The house is 100 years old and has been lovingly renovated and looked after.I arrived before check-in time but was made most welcome by Vincente....My room was warm,clean and comfortable and sleep quality was excellent....Breakfast was perfect-served at 6.30 in the morning as I was taking the early ferry back to Punta Arenas....Location was excellent-a short walk to Plaza de Armas and to restaurants....The staff really made my stay enjoyable.I want to mention Vincente and Tatiana-two lovely people...Definitely worth returning to...Top marks....10 out of 10
