Overview
Located next to Prince Rupert Bay, Portsmouth Beach Hotel features a private beach, a spa and beachfront restaurant. Its studios feature a private balcony and a kitchen. Please note that Portsmouth Beach Hotel does not have a Spa. Guests can access the dive centre and go snorkelling, kayaking, sailing and whale watching. They can also have a massage at Portsmouth Hotel’s natural botanical spa. At Portsmouth Beach Hotel we no longer do diving kayaking and sailing. We do offer Whale Watch tours on a Wednesday and Saturday at a cost of US$100.00 p.p and children below the age of 12 US$50.00. We also offer Sunset cocktail cruise, Snorkeling and Swim with the Whales. Note that non of our room have telephone and television.

“Lovely for a short stay for the Jazz and Creole.”
Great location for attending the Jazz & Creole Festival. It was convenient. We liked that the rooms came with fridge, microwave and complimentary coffee. Breakfast at the res Was lovely but the price is not included. The staff are really pleasant and helpful. I would stay again for a brief stay.

“Simple accommodation at reasonable price”
Good price. A pretty basic room and not really a Hotel as such. But perfectly Ok for a short stay. Nice view from balcony (side view) of sunset. Easy to get taxi to Portsmouth or rest of the Island. Since it cost around £90US we did not expect luxury - not least given the Intercontinental nearby is $1000 a night! Had fridge and microwave and aircon.

We spent a few days in this amazingly located hotel. The staff are amazing and the location is breathtaking. The hotel itself is very quiet and a little bit outdated, but we just slept there and spent the rest of our time exploring the island and relaxing on the beach just next to the hotel. In the bar, I would recommend a rum punch; just be careful, it's stronger than you think. There are a couple of shops near the hotel where you can buy extra supplies and a great pizza place just a few minutes away. The town center is approximately 20 minutes' walking distance from the hotel.

Location on the beach is good, although it is not a beautiful beach. Room was painted new and functional, though design is really old and makes you looking forward to go home again. AC + shower worked, bed was cosy, room was very clean.
