Flat is in modern complex accessed via quite a few steps, though there is a small lift to avoid most of them. The old town is adjacent to the flat with bakeries etc providing pastries for DIY breakfasts. If you want to do some of your own cooking there is a small supermarket nearby. There are lots of restaurants close by. Flat is quite small but fine for two people for a few days. Coffee machine, with supplies, was great. The rooftop terrace gives a great view of the bay. It was very hot for our visit but the air conditioning made the flat comfortable. The boats for trips to the Cinque Terre villages go from the landing stage right outside the property. We travelled by train to La Spezia and caught a bus to Portovenere; this worked fine. (The bus stop is a 10-15 min walk from the station and you have to buy tickets in a tobacconist shop.) We had great communication with the person greeting us.

“Great place to stay in a beautiful location.”
Great location and staff communication. Facilities were great except the small shower needs some getting used to. Top terrace was perfect.

The hostess was considerate and provided excellent instructions on how to find and access the place. The place itself was fantastic and an amazing location. I especially loved the terrace. I definitely encourage going down to the supermarket (Conad City) to grab breakfast supplies, and things for a salumeria/cheese board with wine. Perfect with the view!

We loved to stay in this lovely apartment! It was clean, beautiful, cozy and the balcony was the highlight of it. There’s everything you need, it’s well equipped. It‘s in the best location, there is a supermarket just below, the city centre and the sea is just a few steps away. The host, Martina, was really kind and helpful.

“Fantastic location.”
It's a fantastic location overlooking the waterfront. The kitchen was well equipped with a cooktop, microwave and coffee machine and there was more than enough cutlery and crockery. The bathroom includes a washing machine which was great after several weeks of travelling. The rooftop terrace was a lovely spot to sit with a drink and some snacks at the end of a long day out and about. The lift up from the street is great after dealing with the hills of Portovenere and the Cinque Terre.
