The property is in a beautiful location. The staff is super friendly and made our stay awesome! The breakfast is very good and the house is well kept.

The view is the absolute hero of this property. It’s quite jaw dropping and very special. Sitting in the garden or on the balcony sipping wine and looking at an 11th century castle is quite something. Easy walk into town. Less than 5 minutes and you’re in the mix of restaurants, shops and gorgeous laneways. Excellent hiking walks in the hill (mountain!) area.

Fantastic view over Portovenere, very easy access from the town centre, friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast with both sweet and savoury options. The room was good sized, with a lovely balcony and it was cleaned every day.

Relais Santa Caterina has a brilliant location as it has one of the best views over Portovenere. Access to the main square was down steps in the garden and then steps on communal path so quick access to town centre. Room was cleaned daily but had to ask for clean towels after a few days as we were staying for a week.

“Oh, how we wish to spend our lives there!”

There are no words for this masterpiece of an apartment! We had the greatest time and one of the most important moments of our lives there with my girlfriend, now my fiancee. The location is perfect to see Portovenere and a great base for a trip to the more touristy Cinque Terre. Personally we think that this little town alone is at least equivalent to those 5, it is so beautiful. The rooms and the whole house is full of elegance, has a soul and is well equipped. Nothing is better than hearing the seagulls in the morning and feeling the breeze entering from the sunlit balcony door. Andrea and Giovanni prepared lovely breakfasts each morning and helped us reserve tables at the nearby restaurant. They are quite literally the best hosts. We will definitely visit again! See you soon!
