“Charming challet with beautiful view”
This is the small cottage up the hill in the middle of olive forest. It required a small hike that will later pay back with the amazing view, privacy, romantic evenings with wine and lightning fireflies :) The house and kitchen is fully equipped so we were cooking everyday and enjoyed the meals on the terrace and the view. The outdoor shower was a memorable experience. The hosts are amazing and so lovely. We received the very warm welcome and good story about the region and its geology. What was also exceptional was the contact with hosts before and during our stay - private group on what’s app what in fact was a brilliant idea!

Maison Violet is a wonderful accommodation to stay in. Out of our many holidays, this is one of our favourite places. It is quiet and peaceful with stunning views of Portovenere and the Mediterranean sea. Portovenere is a beautiful, calm and interesting town to visit. I would highly recommend staying in Portovenere and specifically Maison Violet.
