Set on Portovenere's seafront, this hotel features a terrace overlooking the small port and Palmaria Island. Set in a 17th-century monastery, it is a few steps from the town centre. I stayed at Hotel Porto Venere and the experience was simply perfect. The location is unbeatable, with a breathtaking view of the sea and the harbor. The property is beautifully maintained, elegant, and welcoming. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were extremely kind, professional, and always helpful their warm hospitality truly made a difference. The breakfast was rich, varied, and of excellent quality, served on a terrace with a postcard-perfect view. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy a truly charming experience in Porto Venere. I would return without hesitation!

The location of the hotel was great overlooking Portovenere and just 2 minutes walk into the centre. The staff were really friendly and the food in the restaurant was great, as was the bar area.

“Iconic location but hugely overpriced”
Iconic location and historic backstory. Rooms are incredibly small for the cost. I have stayed in 5* hotels across the world and I think this was the most expensive per square metre stay I have ever had. Staff were friendly and helpful which helped you forget about how much it was all costing
