Rancho Juancho is 7 km away before reaching Portobelo. Sited on a short and steep hill, it offers the perfect height for the enjoyment of the best view of the Caribbean. Where you will find a natural place and total relaxation. The property has a Bohio surrounded by the best views, to observe the Caribbean Sea, birds, monkeys etc, also has use meeting room and restaurant. All cabins have terrace, refrigerator, dining table, air conditioner and private bathroom with shower. You can enjoy sea views from the room. Rancho Juancho has a 24-hour front desk and free parking. An array of activities can be practiced on site and in the surrounding area. such as: transfers to the beaches, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding to the river, milking tour. The property is about a 90-minute drive from the Panama City International Airport. Better access with 4x4 vehicle.

Nice view out over the water. Quiet at night. Nice walks and a lovely river to swim in nearby. Nice, considerate hosts. Close to Portobelo. Dinner and breakfast cooked to order.

Perfect location. Amazing views. Surrounded by nature. Hosts are super friendly and helpful. You really feel welcome and relax as they will help you with any request or problem to solve. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend the place.

“Great view, breeze, and staff. Comfortable cabin”
Rancho Juancho is made of six small, but immaculately clean, basic cabins on top of a hill with a great view of the Caribbean and a pleasant breeze making lazing in the cabin’s hammock an almost meditative experience. My cabin had AC, Spanish (mostly) language cable, a two burner stove, refrig and cold shower. The only wi-fi is a 100 yards further up the hill at the reception / outdoor dining area. The driveway, as noted by others, is a steep drive, disconcerting the first time one drives it. Owner is very pleasant and speaks English well. Rates excellent as a basic cabin, but don’t expect a Hampton or Courtyard.

Friendly family place. Gorgeous location. Rustic cabin with everything you need. If you are looking for luxury this is not your place. If your are looking for comfortable accommodations in a beautiful setting look no further .

“Very disappointing. Apparently booking send messages from them that are not real ! Lies !!!”
