“Perfect base to see the penguins”

Perfect location and has all the amenities needed for a short stay. For me, the best accomodation throughout our NZ trip! It is a working farm and luckily we had the opportunity to feed the sheeps. Paula the host was amazing and there were 2 friendly cats. Please book your stay here! :)

Incredible stay in a very beautiful part of Dunedin. The place felt grounded with incredible views, super friendly farm animals and an amazing host.

We spent a lovely 3 days in Paula's little house. It provided an ideal base to visit the Otago peninsula area. Paula couldn't have been a more friendly and helpful host. We had a wonderful break.

I really appreciated the cozy atmosphere of the property. The owner was hospitable and engaged us in friendly conversations, striking the perfect balance between being sociable and respecting our privacy. A highlight of our stay was when the owner kindly took my son and me to see the sheep, which was a delightful experience. The owner went above and beyond by providing a well-prepared backstory of the farm, which added a wonderfully personal and engaging touch to our stay. Reading about the history and essence of the place we were staying at was not only interesting but also deeply appreciated. I wish more accommodations would offer such insightful glimpses into their unique stories, enhancing the travel experience for their guests.

Lovely hosts on the farm. Able to bottle feed lambs and hand feed sheep. Cottage is wonderful with very good facilities.

Very good size of cottage, had everything you needed. Very good location in the middle of the peninsula. Lovely to have the sheep come up to the balcony and being able to feed them (our kid loved it). Loved the farm experience, the peace and quiet and the lovely reception by our host Paula. She was even so kind to babysit our 1.5yr old so we could do an evening activity. Also very good tips for activities!

Very pleasant location out of the city for us to explore the peninsula. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed.
