Set on Monte Argentario in the Tuscan Maremma, this restored hunting lodge offers a summer outdoor pool and a garden. All elegant rooms come with air conditioning and an LCD TV. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Country Relais La Mortella is surrounded by the Argentario 18-hole Golf Course. “Beautiful and relaxing”
We loved everything about this property! We stayed 5 nights and wished we had booked more. We had a beautiful room upstairs with windows on two walls and views. The reception rooms downstairs were comfortably furnished and very welcoming. Outside was a botanical garden to delight the senses. We had breakfast outside under the pergola every day. Anita, Manuela and Massimo could not have been more welcoming or helpful throughout our stay. La Mortella is in a perfect position for exploring Monte Argentario and the mainland. There is so much to see and do from there.

“Amazing calm place”
Everything! Except the sounds isolation. I could hear neighbors going to the bathroom. All the rest was amazing. The most friendly stuff I’ve ever had. Delicious breakfast. I had a car so I managed to travel around the island. It is calm and super beautiful!

The location was superb, and the views will take your breath away. The property offers tranquility coupled with close proximity to everything. The grounds and buildings are meticulously maintained. The property has exceptional Tuscan traditional finishes that will send you back in time yet has all the luxury you could possibly hope for. Our hosts’ incredible attention to detail, cleanliness and hospitality is second to none. The breakfast was sublime with a great selection of amazing local farm to table products and wonderful service. We will definitely be back.

We loved the beautifully restored Tuscany farmhouse set in beautiful gardens. The hosts were very helpful. Lovely breakfast included which we enjoyed on the back terrace overlooking the gardens. Also gluten free products were available for my partner who is a coeliac.

we felt welcome and taken care of from the first minute of our stay - until the last. Anita and Massimo managed to get us right into ‚vacation mood‘. They recommended wonderful and delicious restaurant and day trips. The breakfast was stunning with local ( mostly organic) food. Something for everyone. Thank you for making our stay a rememberable one.

“Great hotel!”
The hotel is simply great! We were four adults traveling together and before leaving we were a bit scared about how big the room would be - it turned out to be just perfect! You only have one bathroom but enough space for everyone. In addition, the location is just amazing: you can see the golf course and the sea from the hotel and the pool is lovely. Plus, breakfast is also very nice and all made with local ingredients. I have to say DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! We will be back!

Excellent range of locally sourced jams and breads. Anita was more than willing to cook eggs for us too. The quality of everything was extremely high and beautifully presented.
