The staff is definitely the best at Pousada Maracabana! We had the room at 4th floor with a nice sea view, + balcony, a Brazilian rede and 2 chairs. Our bed was large and comfortable. Bathroom was also big and very good. Private open parking is next to the pousada. The pool is small but pleasant! The sea is front door, the beach is quiet and almost sauvage. Not the best location for swimming, but 100% perfect for surfing and peace.

It's a simple pousada, but confortable rooms The staff is pretty lovely. Helena was adorable. The cafe da tarde every day with cake was so good.

Small boutique hotel. All stairs, no elevators. Quite a bit far from the center, but you can walk on the beach to reach the village in half an hour walk.

Location , it was right on the beach. Staff , were extremely friendly .

Good room, decent size with good bathroom. No elevator, so the walk up a couple of flights of stairs was tough for an old guy. On a stretch of beach where there' a lot of undertow, so no swimming. About a 1km walk to the good swimming area.

“A little home in a Paradise beach!”

Loved the staff at reception and how helpful they have been especially with me not speaking very well Portuguese at all and traveling solo!!! Very large room and comfortable bathroom, loved the rear terrace and the hammock hung there all for me!! Food at the restaurant is superb especially for lunch/dinner!!! Also the merenda served each afternoon is a bonus for a quick snack! Finally high praise for the massage!! The spa is actually very tiny and it consists of one jacuzzi style mini pool with mild jets but the quality of the massage...wow..one of the best ever!!! I would definitely go back again, it was really hard to leave this lovely Pousada!

The people working there were very nice and helpful. Loved the pool area, breakfast was nice although it becomes a little repetitive (same every day)

The staff is super nice, multicultural and they are always ready to help. The location is amaaaaaziiing, it's extremely beautiful and quiet. If you don't like crowds, this is the perfect spot to unwind.

Location, rooms, breakfast and specially the staff. They were all amazing a very special thanks to Francisca always smiling and checking how is my breakfast and room. And Talita very welcome and efficient. Talita has the perfect combination of friendly and efficient... Always giving tips where to go and to do, always on top of any challenges which may arises ( and did). Instead of focus on the problem she focus on the solution. I work in hospitality and I know our staff needs to work with us and not for us... I will give a suggestion of a share bonus between the staff ( proportional to their level and work hours). I really give 10 to all.

The room was absolutely beautiful and we couldn't believe how close we were to the beach. The staff were all so friendly and the infinity pool was really the cherry on the cake. We loved the location, much quieter than the main beach, the sea is a bit rougher but it's worth getting Uber to the town centre in the evenings to avoid the crazy tourism during the day if you really just want to switch off from it all. The food was lovely too!

The pousada had a lovely view of the beach and was really close to Pontal de Maracaipe, which really was a lovely place! The staff was really friendly and keen to help.
