Upon arrival at the condominium, we were immediately confronted with a strong, musty odor indicative of mold, which compelled us to seek alternate accommodation for my visiting parents. It became clear that the property had been neglected, with no recent efforts made towards proper ventilation, cleaning, or furnishing. The presence of mold and dirt was pervasive, affecting the beds, walls, and air conditioning unit, and uncovered electrical outlets posed a significant safety risk to my family and me. Due to these hazardous conditions, we made the decision to vacate the premises the next morning, sacrificing the remaining three days for which we had prepaid. Despite reaching out to the property owner regarding a refund due to the unsafe living conditions, we were informed that such a request could not be accommodated, leaving us with no option but to lodge formal complaints with bookings.com and relevant governmental authorities. While I recognize the inherent risks associated with condominium stays, it is imperative that Booking.com and Beach Class Resorts address these instances of gross negligence. Failure to do so not only exposes you to potential legal action but also undermines the investments of other property owners within the same complex.
