“Charming modern Logis by the sea.”

A very accommodating manager. You can check in between 11.30am and 12,30pm or after 5.30pm. Originally I was given a non sea facing room but was changed to a sea facing room with a balcony without an additional charge. The hotel is very near a sandy beach which you can walk on for long distances. I did three 7km walks. The sea and beach are very clean. The restaurant provides a good variety of traditional French food and entertainment. The steaks are very good. The breakfast is good with very nice bread. The staff are charming and very efficient. The hotel is situated in a modern town which while lacking the charm of a French village, has the bonus of other restaurants to choose from and markets some days a week. I arrived on a Friday morning and the market was in full swing.

I am afraid the only thing that was positive was the location everything else about this hotel was really really bad and so disappointing we actually had to leave early, I could not bear another night in this place . we had booked a week I have read other reviews and many complain of what I unfortunately witnessed myself , tiny bedroom, unwelcome feeling and all they wanted was your money ... commercially oriented smile, I think another review called it and so true...... response to other reviews have said they value feedback but obviously not at the same feedback as what I am giving has been given and obviously nothing done As I complained many times to reception about the state of things in the hotel , the steep stairs that nearly killed me , I was given a better room after 4 nights of hell in the shoe box but I was charged the additional fee and charged for nights not used as I just had to get out of the place before our holiday ended as I was so unhappy there. no charm, no welcome, no good feeling when you walk in reception only locked doors everywhere and a bad smell that just hits you, I was so unhappy here and the worst thing the man did not care one bit

Breakfast was good and location perfect. We would have preferred a full sea view balcony but sadly none were available at time of booking.

It was clean and a good location to the beach and local restaurants , clean towels and sheets everyday and the bed was comfortable,staff were excellent and having only few words of French we managed ok

“A perfect stay by the beach.”

We loved the location and our view over the sea, the room was small but big enough for our requirements. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Our room was serviced every day with fresh towels etc and the cleaning staff did a great job too. A big thank you to everyone from our reception manager to the cleaning staff, we had a wonderful time in Portiragnes.

Very close to the beach, beach bar, and restaurants. Regular markets nearby. We had a room with well equipped balcony with sea view. Hotel had its own restaurant if you wanted to stay in.
