We loved our stay at Casa Alcindo and are more than happy to have spent 4 nights there. Fogo and Cha are special, and Alcindo goes out of his way to make it a perfect experience. He helped plan our stay and organize everything. Everyone was very friendly. Rooms are basic but clean and nice. The yard is beautiful. We had dinner there 3 nights and ate really well. Mostly took our breakfast as lunch for hikes, which got us well through the day. Hope to be back one day :)

The room was very clean and spacious. Comfortable mattress. Friendly host Alcindo who gave us information about the island and about hiking to the top of Fogo vulcano. You can see the vulcano from the window of your room.

Amazing stay. Alcindo and Leticia did everything that they could to make our stay memorable. We are thankful for their generosity, time and general love of the good things in life. We thoroughly recommend doing the hike with a guide !

Exceptional experience to sleep in such a location among such kind people. The staff and owner were nothing but kind and welcoming. They helped us connect with the guide to climb the little volcano, who was a great guide. A special thanks to the kitchen as the dinner was very good.

Lovely and hepful host, nothing is a problem.

Amazing place at the bottom of the volcano, the views are spectular. Garden is so pretty and well maintained. The owner took really good care of us and I could see all guests were well taken care of. She arranged our guide, picnics for the hike and was super responsive and nice.

The efficiency and hospitality of Laetitia and her staff. She suggested and arranged a two day hiking program for us. Food is good too. Casa Alcindo is the perfect base camp in Cha.

What a great place! The location, the friendly, attentive, multi-lingual staff, the food, the beautiful patio, the piece and quiet, the view ... We LOVED it! Good starting point for various hikes. Highly recommend! Know before you go: water is rationed, but still plenty to clean up properly ;) The accommodation's restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, snacks for take away, dinner and drinks. All at fair pricing considering the location. Credit card payment is possible (foreign cards with a 3% fee). For those sore after hiking, you may even book a massage.

Extremly friendly staff!

The staff were very helpful in organizing a tour and transportation. The hotel is located right in front of the volcano and has stunning views. There's a beautiful garden.
