A brilliant slice of paradise right on Eton reef! Loved the hospitality of our hosts who went out of their way to make us feel at home. Wonderful reef walk, delicious breakfasts, gastronomic delights for dinner, highly recommended and can be pre ordered, and a delightful, well presented, comfortable property where you can relax and recharge. Thank you Marcus and Stoney for an unforgettable few days.

This is a spectacular place to stay in Vanuatu. Lovely hosts, and great accommodation. So memorable- on a private place moments from the beach, and kilometres from local villages. Great attention to detail from the hosts in all ways. Great breakfast and Marcus cooks beautiful dinners.

“Beautiful secluded island stay”

A stunning and secluded island stay, with several private beaches all to yourself. So peaceful and relaxing. Amazing dinners cooked by Marcus who is a professional chef, with lovely conversations with him and Stoney over the table. We were there over Easter and they baked fresh hot cross buns and put Easter eggs in our breakfasts. We hired an e-bike nearby and rode to the Blue Lagoon and some other spots along the road but we also spent days just relaxing at the property’s endless gems. Highly recommend for laidback travellers.

We had a very pleasant stay. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and we felt comfortable from the very beginning. We especially appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts. They were always available for us and even supported us in planning our day trips, which really enriched our vacation.

“A private paradise”

Comfort, cleanliness and care are all exceptionally attended to here. We loved the fact that it was well out of town, on the south eastern corner, where there is fantastic reef and swimming holes to explore. Papaya Villa has its own version of blue Lagoon and because you are the only guest when you stay here, you have it to yourself. It is well worth having Marcus make your dinner because he is a trained chef, and the breakfast included is sublime as well. The hosts are both super friendly and attentive.

The german girl who came a month early 😅. Long story, short way I book the wrong Date. And suddenly, I was there. For Marcus and Shoran, that was no problem at all. They welcomed me warmly and prepared the room for me. I've never had such lovely hosts, who were so concerned about making sure I caught my flight to Santo. The entire accommodation is designed with great attention to detail; every shell was collected by Shoran. Marcus conjured up a delicious dinner. The place is a bit remote, but it's like heaven on earth, so much peace and solitude, simply unique.

This exclusive, secluded spot was so peaceful and relaxing. The meals were superb and the snorkelling was amazing! The hosts were friendly and accommodating and we felt very refreshed having spent a few days here.

We enjoyed our stay here. We spent over one week here and still feel not enough. If you are looking for something unique, private and exceptional, papaya villa is a good choice. It is a bit away from the city but believe me it is worthy. They have reliable WiFi and clean underground water. The buildings survived through tycoons and earthquakes. It is a safe place.
