“It was an exercise in survival and resilience exacerbated by absolutely no assistance to guests.”
Being stuck in Port Vila during the earthquakes there was no water and no power and no phone or internet communications at all. There was a declared state of emergency.

We liked the cafe next door. There was a supermarket handy, and a bus stop in front. So close to all amenities.
