Overview
Located on a private island, this beach front resort features a freshwater swimming pool, restaurant and bar. Guests have free use of all non-motorised water sports equipment, including snorkelling gear. All accommodation at Hideaway Island Resort Port Vila features ceiling fans and most offer sea views. The villas also have kitchen facilities. The shared guest lounge includes a small library, board games, a computer with internet access, and a large balcony. Free WiFi is available on the beach. On the Beach bar and restaurant is situated on the sand overlooking the warm tropical waters and coral reefs. Guests can enjoy beach volleyball, scuba diving at the PADI Dive Shop and unique cultural ceremonies. Enjoy free use of kayaks and stand up paddle boards. Divers and snorkellers are able to post special waterproof postcards at the world’s only “Underwater Post Office”. Mele Cascade Waterfalls are only 5 minutes’ drive from the ferry landing by bus or taxi.

“Amazing staff, pretty island”
The location, the food, the staff! And also the sweet cats (pro tip: bring some tuna). Luisa gave us a hug when we left. The staff really makes this island even more special. Also: don’t miss the underwater post office

Snorkelling was a fantastic free activity. We really enjoyed the pool, the food was delicious, and the people were extremely friendly and took very good care of us during our trip. The water was blue as hell, and we enjoyed playing the games and reading the books they had available!

“Rustic charm, warm service and great snorkelling”
hey people this place is CUTE! Best fish burger you will ever eat, friendly staff and a fun ... almost 'twee' little island. Snorkelling is fantastic. BUT it is an island - if it rains - it rains... this is Vanuatu - no fancy guest lounges with TV and activities (but the ocean is full fo fun fishies to see). Get the free boat across to the Beach Bar one or two nights to wathc the fire show (or go in the day and swim with the really lovely local kids who love jetty jumping and really love to say hello to you). And then have one full day and night just chilling. You can walk around the entire island in 7 minutes - i enjoyed doijng it at sunrise. A great place for kids and big kids
