Port en Bessin is definitely a hidden gem at the Normandy coast. The location of the apartment is perfect for those who want to explore the region, both historically and gastronomically. The price is very reasonable for the facilities. One doesn't have to drive to Bayeux for check in any longer. There is a code on the door of the apartment. Very detailed instructions made it easy to arrive and stay. We enjoyed the spacious shower and the little balcony a lot. We recommend both the apartment and the place.

The appartment is clean and bright with `French` doors out to a balcony with a vue accross to the church. The bedroom king-size mattress very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has a microwave instead of an oven, and I suggest the refridgerator set to No 4 on arrival. The allocated parking space is often taken by the office-workers (of the appartments ground floor) but there were plenty of vacant spaces against the back wall. There is no reception/concierge at Port en Bessin.
