“Taunton is simply the best place to stay in Port Elizabeth — it exceeded all our expectations and we”

What an incredible stay! We spent 5 nights at Taunton from 30 May to 4 June and loved every moment. The rooms were beautifully presented, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the hospitality was second to none. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and it truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Port Elizabeth — we'll definitely be back!

It was the perfect short stay for me in a quiet, attractive and secure area of PE. Roy was extremely welcoming and helpful. The studio flat comes with a garage with easy access to the flat. The room is generous in size with a very comfortable bed and a well kitted kitchen incl an airfryer. BTW I highly recommend visiting Roy's beautiful Rose Garden Cafe for breakfast!

Kind and gracious hosts and a beautiful setting surrounded by a lush garden and leafy wide streets that are very walking friendly. The unit was immaculately clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable "home away from home" stay - comfortable bedding and good quality bedding, work/dining area, well-equipped kitchen and a great shower.

The place is beautiful and clean. Quiet area. Roy was the kindest host. We appreciated the complimentary fruits, tea station, and breakfast rusks. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Value for your money. King-sized beds were very comfortable. Area is close to shops, and the beach is a short distance away.

We had a wonderful stay! The host Roy was very welcoming, and the apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We’d highly recommend it and would definitely stay again. Looking forward to returning in 2026

Absolutely awesome accommodation in a lovely quiet, treed suburb. It was spacious and felt like home away from home. The entrance was private, the kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you need for self catering, the king size bed was very comfortable and the view from the cottage was great. I could not fault the accommodation, and the cherry on top was that it was serviced daily! Roy and Pete were fabulous hosts who couldn't do enough to make sure that the stay was comfortable. Thank you both and hope to see you again!
