“Swartkops Retreat”
Across the road from the river. Always activities going on on a weekend with people fishing etc. Lively on a weekend. During the week it's very quiet. Catholic church 2 minutes walk away. Summerstrand beach and Cape Recife is only 25 minutes away.

“Out home away from home!”
What a lovely place. We stayed there while PE was experiencing power and water outage. It was like our home away from home. Basie really went out of his way to open for us at 9pm. Would definitely recommend a stay here. Close to PE so you can literally just take the highway and reach PE in 10 minutes.

“Over all PE is a dirty city the people do not respect their own environment we just wanted to leave.”
The property itself is very good, neat and spacious. But the location is ok on the riverside but the back roads are dirty. We did not feel safe. The owner is very friendly and accommodating.

Very quiet neighborhood. Can fish across the road.All 3 rooms have their own Tvs,hairdryers,cupboards. Its a fully furnished house ,even the kitchen.Secure parking behind electric gate.The owner is very friendly and helpful Basie is his name.

The host was very nice, and the facilities were up to a good standard. I was impressed that the host paid attention to the smallest details in terms of providing the facilities to make the clients very comfortable for the duration of our stay. I would book again. The place felt very safe and what impressed us was the quiet atmosphere around even though there are a lot of individuals fishing canoeing in a close-by river.
