I loved my stay here! Ended up staying 6 nights. Its in a really quiet and safe location, close to the beaches, food and supermarket. Good wifi too. You have everything you need and Stefano and Johnny were both really helpful!

“Stressful stay mainly due to bugs, mosquitos and barking dogs.”
Johnny, the house keeper is a very friendly guy. Helpful and sincere. The hostel is close to all the nice attractions and located in a nice Jamaican neighborhood. Close to Winnifred Beach. Large balcony.

“Nice hostel”
Very cool hostel run by friendly people. A bit hidden but gives you a really local perspective from the town. Has a kitchen and common balcony. It's a quiet area but enough shops and restaurants are in walking distance. Beautiful nature and beaches are close (20min walk) and you can explore the area by route taxi. Best backpacker spot in the parish.

“Perfect location.”
It was really close to both Winnifred beach and Boston Beach - easily walkable. Friendly atmosphere too with other travellers. Stefan was really knowledgeable and helped with any and all questions.

“Perfect hostel in quiet Port Antonio”
A wonderful little hostel run by a friendly Italian owner! Close to the beaches with good bathrooms and a nice communal kitchen! I enjoyed my time here in Port Antonio

“Amazing!”
Clean Hostel with great staff! Stephano made sure we'll feel at home and gave us great advice for every place we wanted to visit. He is very experienced with Backpackers like us, and meeting other travelers throughout our Hostel stay was a real treat!

“One of my shortest stay however I was able to accomplished a lot of things.”
Excellent location - quick access to public transportation i.e. taxis and mini buses - easily accessible to the beaches and Boston Jerk Centre - The operator - Stefano ensures that everyone is aware of rules, guidelines, policies and anything that a new guest would need to know getting around. Would I revisit Porty Hostel - oh absolutely!

“Great choice.”
Stefano who runs the hostel was very helpful, informed and well connected. He knew short cuts to the beach and all about the area. The room was quite comfortable, there's a balcony, kitchen and sitting area. The other travellers were pleasant. It's a small hostel so is quiet, which I liked. It is close to local amenities. I would recommend the hostel and stay again.

“Hostel n. 1 in Jamaica”
Uncomplicated and caring welcome by the host Stefano, he introduced us in the place, explained about sourroundings and all nearest attractions. He was very kind, Stefano is always ready for a help or to have a chat. Everithing you need as a backpacker is provided. We came in thinking to stay one night and ended up spending 5 night at porty hostel. N.1 hostel in Jamaica!

“Best spot in town!”
Porty hostel felt like home as soon as I walked in! Location is great, the hostel is clean, safe and deffo a great value for money. The hostel is very close to some of the most beautiful beaches in Portland area and when I say close I mean walking distance! The owner Stefano is super helpful and extremely friendly. I will definitely visit again! This is your spot in Portland!
