“Wonderful”

We had an amazing stay at Port Antonio Residence. Laura and Chris were incredibly kind, welcoming, and thoughtful hosts throughout the entire experience. Everything was spotless, very well organized, and made us feel completely comfortable from the moment we arrived. We even shared a few beers together and had such a good time. Their hospitality truly made the trip even more special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and friendly environment. Thank you again, Laura and Chris, for everything!

“Nice room but uncomfortable host”

Laura picked me up at the Texaco gas station. From there it’s a 15 minutes walk to her house. It’s actually easy to find on google maps. The room is clean and had everything I needed. I could also ask them for some plate and cutlery. There was a broken fan and chair but Laura replaced it immediately.

“Good choice for my trip”

The location was great for me and allowed me to explore the area with route taxis and see the great beaches and waterfalls that Portland bas to offer. The television and WiFi were excellent and let me keep up to date and relax in the room. Breakfast from Laura was a great start to the day and she did some mid trip washing for me. Area was bustling but local people were friendly and the security at the property was good. Laura did help with everything I asked about.

Laura & Chris are the sweetest and kindness hosts I have been welcomed by. They looked after me during my whole stay! Chris cooked delicious Jamaican dishes for me and Laura made her best for me to feel comfortable and arranged pickup, drop off rides and sightseeing for me. The place is central, safe, in a quiet area and close to downtown. You have everything you need in the property. “Very cozy and authentic!”

I was received with a very warm welcome by Laura, who kindly picked me up from the Knutsford Express bus station and brought me to the accommodation by taxi. From the moment I arrived, the place felt cozy, comfortable and truly authentic. Laura was extremely communicative throughout my stay, always checking in to make sure I was doing well and genuinely caring about my wellbeing. She even organized my transportation back to the Knutsford Express when I was leaving, which made everything stress-free. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed for two nights at Port Antonio Residence. Laura and Chris were extremely welcoming, we felt very safe and supported during our stay. WiFi was good. Breakfast was delicious, at an extra fee. The location is in a friendly neighbourhood close to Port Antonio centre and nearby shops and bars. Laura arranged transport with a friendly local driver to get to and from nearby beaches, and to our next location. As first timers in Jamaica, this support was really appreciated.

The property is located in a convenient location, close to the Highway and surrounded by local shops & bars. Very good value for money. The best of all are of course the owners, Laura and Chris, very lovely and caring people. You can ask them for any kind of information and they will go out of their way to help you. I really liked to stay there and sure will be back if around. Cheers guys

Staying at the house for those few days felt like home. Laura and Chris are very friendly and eager to help. They helped us with everything, and more than just guests, we felt welcomed. The energy of the house and their friendship made all the difference. I'm very grateful for everything, and I hope to return again.

Nice and safe location, in between the city centre and Frenchman Cove. Good internet connection. Laura was really helpful since the booking confirmation. She arranged a taxi to pick us up and also drop us off at the bus station.

I had a lovely stay at Laura and Chris’ place. They are both very friendly and welcoming, and it’s clear they enjoy meeting new people. The setup is a shared house situation—you have your own private room with a separate entrance and bathroom, but they live right next door. Laura was very attentive and even checked in with me in the evenings to make sure everything was okay since I was traveling alone as a woman. I really appreciated her kindness and care. She also arranged a driver for me from Port Antonio to pick me up and bring me to the apartment, as well as for my return trip, which made things so much easier.
