The breakfast was lovely, the rooms were clean, the staff were very friendly and it was like staying with family on a daily basis as the staff greeted you wherever you were within the hotel.

“Gorgeous stay”
Jamaica Palace Hotel is a truly gorgeous place to stay in the pearl of Portland. Even though it was developed in the 70s-80s, the property is well maintained with relatively modern rooms and beautiful gardens. The breakfast was included in our stay and we enjoyed the choice between Jamaican and continental breakfasts. We had a car so it was very convenient to get around to sights in Portland and while it rained, it was convenient to eat in the onsite restaurant with its beautiful artwork.

“Convenient, comfortable and clean”
Comfortable beds, clean rooms. There were frequent route taxis passing in front of the hotel. They are like public transport. This made it very easy for us to travel to the beaches and the town center. Big room size. I'm vegan, and they ensured the breakfast was tailored for me.
