“Comfortable stay with a cozy retro feel”

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated having a desk/work area and a nice view from the room. The motel has a cozy retro atmosphere and was a convenient place to stay while exploring the Olympic Peninsula. Good value for the price.

Flagstone Motel is a simple but spotlessly clean accommodation in Port Angeles, ideal for visits to Olympic National Park and Peninsular, as well as for catching the ferry over to Vancouver Island in Canada - the car ferry is in fact walkable from the motel if you want to go over as a foot passenger, and there are private parking lots where you can leave your car. You can also walk to a number of bars and restaurants from the motel so we found it to be a fantastic location. We were surprised how early everything closes in town (we visited in September) but found a sports bar called Bourbon West to be open until midnight. Flagstone prices are affordable so it offers a very good price quality ratio. The staff and manager work hard to make your stay enjoyable.

The hotel is strategically located on the main road in Port Angeles, close to the Ferry terminal (I chose it specifically for this). the room was small, but it was fine for a couple of nights: equipped with shower, coffee machine, microwave and small fridge. Parking is available on site.

The motel benefits from the location's popularity, especially during peak season. However, nothing justifies the price. It was clean, to be fair. But otherwise, it was quite cramped, hadn't been renovated in a while, and the standard was rather low.

The front desk people were always very helpful, even going the extra mile to warn us of a water issue the town had and to return a piece of luggage I had forgotten.
