The host was very kind. Check-in and check-out went well. The cleaner was also kind. The apartment is very spacious and ohhhhh we really loved the mirror in the bathroom. We definitely took a lot of pictures there.

“It was not nice at all. It just ruined our vacation”
I booked a place for 5 person's on booking.com at yellow trading apartments [Sandawana] the place accommodates 6 and it happened later on that we were 6. Because I saw the apartment takes maximum of 6 person's I saw no need to report that we are no longer 5 but 6 Upon arrival, Ms Strydom who was helping us told us the space she has is for only 5 people, and she is fully booked for another booking, at a later stage Ms Straydom demanded R2,000 cash for the 6th person to do another booking. We arrived late around 18:00, we were under pressure and we didn't know the place so we had no choice but to pay cash of R2000. No official receipt nor proper explanation as to why are we paying cash was provided she just said she only need cash. I asked her to email to me the receipt she said she will need a tax number and a business name to do that. The place has a double bed, 2 single beds, and 2 sofa couches ... we couldn't understand why she cant accomodate the 6th person. The place was dirty and it was under construction they were installing tiles just on the room that was opposite ours. The noise of tile grinder which were cutted infront of our rooms was unbearable. This is unfair, unprofessional, and potentially unlawful under South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act. We plan to report this matter to the National Consumer Commission.
