Peaceful rural location - excellent continental breakfast of hard boiled eggs, smoked salmon (caught and smoked by host), bread for toast, yoghurt, jam, cereals, Nutella and peanut butter flapjack and biscuits. Beautiful setting we saw a deer and spent ages watching the humming birds feed. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and the host very welcoming and friendly. We wished we were staying longer than one night.

breakfast was excellent with salmon owner caught and smoked, fresh eggs and bread. good tea and coffee plus homemade cakes. decor was interesting, garden and ornaments were quirky. quiet site in woods. great staff with advice on local sites to visit and good restaurants.

Wonderful location in the woods close to Port Alberni and many beautiful trails, falls and lakes. It was perfect to spend a couple relaxing days on our way to the west coast. The host was really helpful and the breakfast was great, with both sweet and salty options, delicious homemade muffins, plum compote, fresh fruit and she even brought us some homemade salmon she had prepared.

Beautiful house on the outskirts of town, very quiet, spacious rooms, very friendly host, good breakfast, very reasonable price. Perfect for a stopover or a stay of some days in the region.

Great Location in the woods, close to Albani, with access to a beaver lake and plenty of space around to relax - if you have time. The host is phantastic and gave us plenty of information for things to do in the area. The appartment is in the basement of the house with a bedroom, a bathroom with a free standing bathtub and a large, comfortable living room. The host provided a nice breakfast and gave us a good, cosy and homely feeling. This place is a real recommendation - not only for one night!

Away from noise of traffic very rural. Lots of little extras and our host Ma was great with recommendations especially the venue for dinner the Fish and Dutch at Sproat Lake

Fabulous B and B, Sonia gave us a very warm welcome and lots of tips for eating, and visiting the salmon jumping (which we didn't know had started). Lovely property, fab views, great breakfast, comfortable bed, very well equipped place. Highly recommended

Wonderful appartment with awesome interior and a view onto the hill ahead and the nice big garden. By luck you see a Komibri drinking and we saw also bear coming along!! Breakfast also with fruit and egg. Nice!! The owners were very friendly and gave us tipps for our next trip to Ucluluet.
