Overview
Son Mercadal is set in the Mallorcan countryside, 4 km from Porreres and a 30-minute drive from Palma Airport. This converted 19th-century farmhouse offers an outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi zone and free parking. Rustic rooms feature stone walls and wooden beams. Each has a balcony with garden views. We stayed 4 nights and were really surprised by how nice the house and everything around it was made. Even though it looked nice on the pictures already, in real life it's even more beautiful. We were so lucky that there were not all the rooms occupied when we arrived so we got a free room-upgrade, which was more than a friendly gesture. Thank you again for that! The garden with all the birds noises and the pool area really invite you to wind down as the finca is situated completely remote and away from any disturbing sounds. Breakfast was everyday a bit different and also for vegetarians with a nice variability. In case we'll visit Mallorca again at some point, this place will definitely be on our go-to-list again!

“A very comfortable and enjoyable stay particularly because of lovely gardens and peaceful location.”
The location was perfect: 30 minutes from Palma, fiarly central on the island, with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from in nearby local towns. The accommodation is perfect for a charming, tranquil break. The gardens are beautiful and the location is quiet and sheltered in its own grounds with a swimming pool. The host was extremely helpful with suggestions about where to go to and what to see. She also made sure that the pool was clean for us to use after a very windy day.

“Peaceful & beautiful”
The location is just what we were looking for, quiet beautiful setting not far from local small town. You do need a car as there are no options to eat at the hotel, we tended to eat during the day and as the room had a small fridge we snacked in the evening with a glass of wine on our private terrace overlooking the fields. The room was clean and the bed really comfy.

Our stay at Son Mercadal felt like a fairytale. 🏡✨ The host was amazing – she welcomed us on arrival, shared stories, and made us feel at home right away. The place is beautiful, the room spotless, and the homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious. The whole setting has such a peaceful and charming atmosphere. 🌿 We will definitely come back! 💛

Everything. The place was very quite, romantic and authentic. The garden was beautiful and we loved the pool area. We really enjoyed our stay. It was one of my best vacation in life. We had a nice terrace, which we adore and the breakfast had been amazing! I highly recommend Son Mercadal and I am planning to return in future.
