The botanic gardens in the grounds, restaurant, beach, and family spa are all wonderful. The staff is adorable. There is also a brand new, majestic adult spa. The à la carte menu is sublime and the waiters are so welcoming. It's easy to park at the hotel and a short drive to other famous villages on Lake Como. It's also easy to drive to Milan.

Beautiful location and very friendly staff. We had a nice family room with two bedrooms and bathrooms and a large roof terrace with a stunning view of Lake Lugano. The apartment was somewhat dated, but well-maintained, intact furniture, never broken or dirty. The beds smelled fresh and we slept wonderfully. The garden is truly special: a variety of fruit trees and ancient olive trees, some dating back to 1867. The longer we stayed, the more we fell in love with the place and the harder it became to leave. The staff is very proactive, helpful and giving great vibes! The restaurant La Masseria is wonderful, great view and very friendly staff who matches your needs.

“Blissful”

The property was great and well situated to take full advantage of the local towns and countryside, ideally positioned next to a lake Laguna with its own private beach front, you couldn’t hope for more. In my opinion this is a far better location to stay than Como (if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation), which we visited and appears over crowded. Fabulous breakfasts providing a great selection of foods, even for the most discerning of tastes. I would strongly recommend spending at least 1/2 a day at the near-by Aria Hotel Spa for a truly wonderful and relaxing time.

We stayed in a Lakeview room – the view was absolutely stunning, totally worth it. The hotel is spacious and very family-friendly, perfect if you are travelling with children. There is parking available, which makes it much easier if you come by car, as the bus runs only about once every two hours. Our room also had a small hob and a kettle, but there were no pans or pots provided. If you are coming by car, it might be a good idea to bring a small pan or pot with you, so you can cook something yourself and save on restaurants. The staff were kind and helpful, and the whole place is located in a very beautiful, calm area.

Would be good if hotel provided a complementary shuttle to Porlezza the nearest town.

We loved the pool area, the views and the direct access to the Lake! Breakfast was also super and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal in La Masseria.
