“Amazing views in beautiful location at the cheaper (Italian) end of Lake Lugano”
Sonia, our host, couldn’t have been more helpful. We arrived sweating in 35 degrees because the air con had gone on the car. She rapidly sorted us out with Butticars, Porlezza, who were brilliant and provided everything else we needed. The location is beautiful, with fantastic view, at edge of lovely old village above Porlezza. We enjoyed swimming in the lakes and visits to Lake Como (boat rides, villas, food, swimming) and Monte Generosa (by train). Our mountain goat of a son loved exploring the mountains on trails from the house. The apartment style is minimalist, but well-equipped.
