This is a lovely place set in very large gardens, very peaceful but within easy reach of Porec. The room was large and very comfortable and also had a balcony. The staff were friendly and very helpful, responding quickly to a couple of requests. Breakfast was also good with a large selection and served in the gardens. We really enjoyed our stay here and would come again if in the area.

Locatie, service and hospitality

Most times, the loudest sound you hear is birds chirping and at night the funny tweeting of scops owls. Mrs. Petrovic is doing an excellent job keeping her guests happy and makes delicious breakfast. It's much better than in most four star hotels. Internet reception is poor, but that helps you to enjoy the beauty of this place. The garden is like a park and you can spot rare birds in it. The place is ideally located for cyclists. Mrs Petrovic also gave us excellent advice regarding restaurants.

Our trip to Villa Castello Rausch was definitely exceptional. The rooms were incredibly large and nicely furnished - you feel like a royal! Every room is really unique. The location is great, you hear the sounds of nature and the big park like garden invites you to relax. If you want to go swimming - Porec is only like 5 minutes by car. The breakfast simply was the best. You definitely need to book that! The villa is family owned and you will feel like home within a short time. Big recommendation, you should definitely visit Villa Castello Rausch if you are looking for something special to relax :)

“Best place I have ever visited in Croatia”

The hostess is a very nice, kind & helpful person. She gave us many tips on where to eat and where to travel to and what sights in croatia we should see. The place itself looks like a castle from a tale, its beautiful, with a spacious room, great showers, and beautiful garden and view. The breakfast was great, and the croissants were really well made. This is probably the best place I've stayed in, and will stay in, in all of croatia. Oh. And there's a jacuzzi for ~4 people.

This place is quite something. You really need to experience this, sitting by the breakfast table in the morning sun. Quiet, distant from the road, idyllic. Breakfast was superb. You need to go there!
