The award-winning Lanterna Premium Camping Resort by Valamar is one of the largest campgrounds in Croatia and features a new family aquapark with 1,350 m² of water surface in 4 swimming pools. Enjoying a beachfront location on a green Lanterna peninsula, it also provides several bars and restaurants. All mobile homes comprise air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom. There is a covered terrace with seating area in each unit. The à la carte restaurant has a rich selection of local specialties and international dishes. Guests can relax at the Adria Beach or Belvedere Cafe with views of the picturesque historical town of Novigrad, which is 8 km away. New family aquapark includes slides and children attractions, 4 reconstructed pools and a new children pool, several water slides and a pirate ship. Various live music and similar events are often organised at Mobile Homes Camping Lanterna. The Maro Club organises activities for children. Poreč, with its UNESCO-protected Euphrasian Basilica, is 13 km from Lanterna Premium Camping Resort by Valamar.

“Not recommended – high price, lack of comfort, and inconsistent service”
Friendly staff at the main reception — the ladies tried to help and at least apologized for the situation. However, at the mobile home reception, the gentleman didn’t even bother to say sorry. The campsite, as well as the mobile home itself, was clean. The mobile home was very well equipped (except for the lack of hot water). Despite being close to the pool, it was quiet and peaceful.

“Short but sweet stay”
The check in process was pretty straight forward and what I like was that we were informed that we are allowed to use the camp facilities (pool, beach, etc) while we wait for the readiness of our mobile home. This wasn't necessary as the mobile home was ready and cleaned far before than what the confirmation stated, which was 4pm. The mobile home was ready at 1.30pm. This was good because we had 2 small children and were staying only 1 night so it doesn't make sense not to be able to go to the pools before the mobile home is available. Also, on the checkout day we were informed we can use the camp facilities for the rest of the day but only to park outside the camp.

“Large resort on the coast”
This is a huge resort located on the coast. The units aren't as nice a pictured, but they're a good size. And they have braai facilities which was quite nice. The shop in the resort also selled some meat which looked a lot better that the shops outside the resort. A day trip to Pula is recommended. One of the pools were slightly heated - enough for children but probably not adults. We were there in Spring, in summer it would be better.

“Relaxing stay at the Camp!”
The accommodation was spacious and very nice. All of the needed accessories were there. The porch was super nice to use. The camp itself had everything we could possibly want. Our dog enjoyed it just as much as we did!
