“Not only a house, it was an experience!”

It was not only a house, but a great experience of Italy and its countryside. The layout of the house was great (two houses were divided into private apartments with separate entrances), offering a lot of privacy for everyone and also ample of room to spend time together (especially pool area and dining area) with our family of 20. We liked everything about the house. We took advantage of games area, grill and pizza oven. I took time to paint and it was so easy to find motifs everywhere - the surrounding landscapes changed hourly, the blossoming garden gave a lot of inspiration. We visited in April and the huge blooming visteria was crazy beautiful. The calm countryside is so beautiful, nearby small town Poppy was cute and held some events and had everything we needed. We also used the services of chef Gabriele - it was a great experience held by him and great taste, thank you! Most of our family reported the house being the best experience of this trip to Italy. We are waiting to go back many times to come.

“Beautiful grounds in a lovely setting but some issues”

The outside of Podere Cerretino is absolutely lovely. The gardens are fabulous with flowers and beautiful old trees everywhere. So unusual for a holiday property. The pool area is also one of the nicest we have ever had, with great views and lots of good quality sun loungers and umbrellas. The gorgeous salt water pool was cleaned regularly during our two-week stay so it was always spotless. There is lots of parking and the place feels very secure and safe. Sprinkers come on in the night which keeps the lawns lovely and green, even in the heat. The traditional decor of the rooms is charming, and it is great to have separate apartments for each group so each can have quiet time when needed or join in the fun when appropriate. Our two families with babies particularly appreciated this. It is also useful to have the separate well-equipped laundry room. Nicola and his father couldn't have been more helpful or responsive.

We had a fantastic stay at this holiday home with our family. From the moment we booked, the communication with the owner was super easy and pleasant. Even before arrival, we received great tips on things to do in and around Poppi, which really enriched our stay. The natural surroundings of Poppi are beautiful, and the activities recommended by the owner we did made our time there extra special – from a pizza party at the house to a fun cooking workshop and a delicious lunch at a nearby vineyard. You can clearly see how much love and attention the owners have put into the house, especially the garden. The garden is stunning and much larger than the photos suggest, with several lovely spots to sit and relax. The property is perfect for a larger group, but thanks to the layout with four fully equipped apartments, it also offers plenty of privacy. Ideal if you want to spend time together but also have the option to retreat for some quiet moments. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back!

“Fabulous week!”

Myself and my family booked this Villa to celebrate my mums 70th birthday and what a beautiful Villa it was. We had the most fabulous week. There were 18 of us and the house is so well layed out everyone had their own space and it didn’t feel crowed at all. The grounds are soo well kept and the pool area and scenery is just stunning. Nicola communicated brilliantly, he was there to greet us and was available if we needed anything throughout our stay. He recommended the most beautiful winery nearby and a local taxi company to take us to and from. I would throughly recommend this Villa in the heart of the Tuscany countryside.

“Unforgettable stay in the beautiful landscape of Poppi”

Great place with beautiful landscape. Very private and totally clean. Also we felt very safe. Main room and pool was very good. Even during the stay they took care 2x of the week of the pool to clean which made the pool very clean and great to chill during the day. Good communication with the host. He was very easy accessible. Would 100% recommend to do it again! Also a Great Golf Club in the near (6 min drive). Great for big groups or families.

Amazing views, great pool, common space. everything a bigger group may need. Nicola was super helpful and recommended us a chef, spots around Poppi, activities. we held pir wedding ceremony there and it was the best decision ever.

“So beautiful and relaxing”

A very beautiful house/villa with separate appartments and social room, a large pool and a huge garden. There are magnifique views at Poppi, which you can reach within a few minutes by foot. In the garden and the house there are many great details in old Tuscan style. We had enough space for our big family ( parents, children, grandchildren) and everything we needed and more from a separate laundry room to our own vine cellar. We enjoyed our stay in the extraordinarely beautiful estate.

The place was incredibly beautiful. The views down the valley were beautiful and not tired of looking at them. The beautiful village of Poppi is close by and provided excellent ice cream and coffee. There were 15 of us there. Me and my wife and our four children and their spouses and five children of children. We fit well and everything worked great. It was an unforgettable vacation :) Thank you for everything Nicola.
