“Perfect holiday for relaxation and reset”

Amazing, relaxed vibes. Perfect place to sit on the beach front furniture and read a book all day. Or wedding plan like we did. Food and service was exceptional - very attentive staff who were happy for chats as well. Room large and spacious. Comfortable beds.

It’s a very beautiful place with unique touch and atmosphere. It has been my second time staying here and I hope to return to Casitas Pacific more times in future. Highly recommend it both for solo travellers like me and for couples as it is a very romantic place as well.

Beautiful property right on the beach. We stayed in two different rooms, one with a fan and the other with airconditioning. It was so nice having airconditioning but comfortable with a fan. Restaurant served yummy food!

Nice that it’s directly on the beach, had some lovely talks with some of the staff. Bar next door also very nice people and food for some variation.

We had an absolutely perfect stay — truly a 5 out of 5 experience in every way. The location is unbeatable, right on the beach, with stunning views and the incredibly relaxing sound of the waves that you can hear right from your room. It made for such a memorable atmosphere throughout our stay. The rooms were excellent — clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up. Everything felt thoughtfully designed to help you unwind and enjoy the surroundings. The food was outstanding, easily some of the best we’ve had during our time in Nicaragua. Every meal exceeded expectations. What really made this place special, though, was the staff. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. We were traveling with our 7 month old daughter, and everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. That level of hospitality made a huge difference for us. This is easily our favorite place we’ve stayed in Nicaragua — we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will absolutely be back

There is absolutely nothing “Pacific” about this place. What was supposed to be a joyful vacation in my own country, shared with friends visiting from abroad, turned into the worst customer service experience I have ever had in Nicaragua—and I say this as someone who has traveled widely and experienced hospitality in many countries. We spent three days at Guasacate Beach and, based on recommendations, decided to stay one additional night at Casitas Pacific, since the facilities looked very nice. We patiently waited two hours to check in, without being in a rush or having any issue with waiting. The problems began when we tried to check in. Since there was no one at reception, I asked two employees (one from housekeeping and another from the kitchen). Both gave me answers marked by indifference. One even replied, “I have no idea, the receptionist is on break,” as if we were inconveniencing them rather than being valued guests. When I later expressed my discomfort with their attitude, these same employees began speaking badly about me right to my face, even going so far as to call me a “hateful woman.” This was not only disrespectful but completely unprofessional. The most shocking part, however, was the behavior of the owner himself. Instead of listening to our concerns or trying to understand why we no longer felt comfortable and wished to cancel our reservation, he chose to raise his voice, insult us, drive us out of the property, and dismiss our feelings entirely. When I explained that the attitude of his employees had made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, his response was not an apology or an effort to improve, but an excuse that was both insulting and unacceptable. He accused us of “exaggerating” simply because we wanted to leave after being treated so poorly. He went further, claiming that his Nicaraguan staff lacked the education and training to provide proper service, and that as a Nicaraguan myself I should “understand that.

Casitas Pacific is such a wonderful place. It feels calm and welcoming from the moment you arrive, with beautiful surroundings that make you instantly relax. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner right on the beach, feet in the sand if you want and listening to the waves as you eat. The food is delicious, and their margaritas are truly some of the best I’ve ever had. We also had a very good massage during our stay, which made the experience even more relaxing. And the horseback riding we booked at sunset was absolutely magical—one of those moments you never forget. The staff is incredibly friendly and always makes you feel at home. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a peaceful beachside escape. Highly recommended!

“A real gem right on the beach”

I had a wonderful stay at Casitas Pacific. It has a perfect location right on the beach and a very beautiful restaurant. The staff is very nice and Josh, the owner of this place, is very hospitable and makes you feel welcomed and at home. Unfortunately I had only one night before going home to enjoy the ocean but if I ever come back to Nicaragua I will definitely stay at this hotel again. 100% recommended!
