I cannot recommend this hotel enough. A superb colonial building, very comfortable room, wonderful location, great breakfast and very friendly, helpful staff.

The location is excellent. The interior courtyards are very pretty and peaceful, and we slept very well. It's convenient to have the pizzeria on site, especially since there didn't seem to be many food places open locally in the evenings. Good value for money.

I had a large room with a comfortable bed. The room facing inside the courtyard was quiet. Restaurant serves good pizzas and decent red wine for a reasonable price. Staff at reception is friendly and helpful.

Beautiful place, perfect location. Rooms were far from street, so vehicles doesnt disturb.

We had a large, quiet, comfortable room with a large bathroom. We were in the smaller courtyard behind the main one which was generally less busy. Pizza and wine can be recommended. We found the breakfast ok, but there are better choices locally. Hotel is conveniently situated in the town centre. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We liked this hotel a lot – beautiful colonial building with two wonderful patios, friendly staff, and a perfect central location just one block from the main square. Our room and bathroom were modern, very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and exactly as described on Booking.com and on the hotel signs, which I appreciated for its clarity. The staff was always very friendly, helpful, and professional. In the larger patio there are chairs and tables, a very pleasant spot to sit and relax. We also felt safe, as the entrance door is kept closed and opened by the staff only for guests.

Hotel La Plazuela had everything we needed for a one night stay. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. This is a great spot to stay when visiting Popayan. Recommend grabbing a drink at Bar El Sotareño and doing the Get Up and Go Colombia walking tour (avoid on Sundays as museums not open).

Clean comfortable room, close to Plaza etc Parking (although a couple of blocks away) Shower hot. We paid extra for breakfast which was ok but lots of cafes within a two minute walk

The hotel is a lovely old hacienda very close to the main plaza in Popayan. The reception area has beautiful painted arches. Our room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of toiletries. The rooms are all around two main courtyards and the whole place has character. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Amazing place in the the old town. It feels really historic and safe with a very secure court yard to park my motorcycle. Kelvin was fantastic.
